Our Vision and Mission

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a church whose lives have been changed by Jesus so other lives can be changed by Jesus. When lives are changed by Jesus, we are empowered for Kingdom of God service; so, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is faithfully transferred from person to person and generation to generation.

Our Mission

Our mission is to glorify our Heavenly Father by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. It is His mission that unifies us and keeps us focused on what really matters – lives! When we get this right, lives will be changed by Jesus!

This occurs through our worship services, bible studies, serving in our ministries and missions, fellowship gatherings, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs We are a Southern Baptist-affiliated church and hold to the doctrinal beliefs of Southern Baptists as defined in the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message.

Our History

Since our establishment as a local church on March 9, 1952, we have always had one mission — honoring the Great Commission so lives can be changed by Jesus. Throughout the decades, we have joined with other local and global believers, churches, ministries, and missions with the purpose of reaching every person with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every community, every town, every city, every state, and every nation.

Through the years, our church has seen lives changed by Jesus and the Gospel of Jesus Christ shared with others. In doing so, many other lives have been changed by Jesus. Changed lives is our purpose and this is done through making disciples of Jesus Christ. During our journey, God has also blessed us through expanding and changing our property and facilities so we can continue to help other lives be changed by Jesus.

From our photos above and below, our membership grew

and filled the once Sanctuary only building to the facilities and grounds we

are blessed with today.  All of this is

because of the dedication and prayers of the many members, leaders, deacons,

and pastors who have so faithfully served our Lord Jesus Christ from our

beginning in 1952 to the present.

And Jesus is still changing lives today so other lives

can be changed!
